From 5 to 7 May 2026, the Greek NGO Pylon One hosted the third training workshop of the ELIX project in Thessaloniki, focused on Collaboration and Impactful Partnerships.
Building on the foundations established in the previous two mobilities, this workshop guided students through the principles of Community Service-Learning and collaboration in higher education, cultural sensitivity and inclusive teamwork, and the practical steps of designing a partnership project. Participants explored stakeholder mapping, growth mindset and trust-building, and worked through real-life case studies and role-play exercises on managing cross-cultural misunderstandings.
The final day brought theory into practice: in small groups, students designed their own partnership projects, defining stakeholders, objectives and intended impact, before presenting their work to the full cohort.
The mobility also included an Intercultural Night, where participants shared stories, food and traditions from their home countries, reflecting the spirit of the diverse group gathered in the city of Thessaloniki.
The workshop concluded with a certificate ceremony and a closing reflection on lessons learned throughout the three days.
ELIX (European Labour Mobility-led Career and Service-Learning System in Higher Education) is an Erasmus+ KA2 project involving six partner institutions. Pylon One, an NGO based in Thessaloniki, served as host for this third mobility activity.
