Entrepreneurship in practice at the Faculty of Commerce represents a platform for supporting the connection of students with practice through activities that also enable the systematic and comprehensive development of their personality. Entrepreneurship in practice enables students to:

  • professional profiling in the field of business, marketing, international trade and tourism,
  • close cooperation with partners from practice who participate in lectures, exercises, and lead workshops,
  • specialization for a future profession in a specific industry,
  • acquiring practical experience during their studies,
  • revealing and developing strengths,
  • working in a team that is formed with regard to the team roles that students hold,
  • gaining important contacts with specialists, managers and experts from selected areas of business and the social environment (networking).

Entrepreneurship in practice provides students with the opportunity to directly cooperate with practice, by involving students in solving practical tasks, problems and challenges of varying difficulty assigned by partners from practice, to gain experience in working in a team, to create their own final thesis topics, but also to establish their own businesses.

Every student at the Faculty of Commerce completes Entrepreneurship in practice, thanks to which they gain practical experience, engage in direct cooperation with partners from practice who lead professional workshops, and participate in the management of seminar and final theses through consulting activities. Students also have the opportunity to complete a practical internship in these companies.

Entrepreneurship in Practice as a platform to support connecting students with practice includes:

  • teaching selected subjects of study programs using innovative educational methods (e.g. project-based learning, problem-based learning, design thinking),
  • professional clubs and academies (practical education, professional practice),
  • interdisciplinary connecting of student teams from various faculties and universities, including foreign ones,
  • assigning and processing seminar and final theses in direct cooperation with practice,
  • entrepreneurial activities of students.

The results of activities within the Entrepreneurship in Practice platform are also regular faculty events organized by students in cooperation with partners from practice:
