Professional clubs represent forms of dual education, when practical training is carried out under the guidance of experts from practice, usually during one semester. Teaching usually uses innovative educational methods, such as project-based forms of teaching or problem-based learning or design thinking.
The basic starting point for project-based learning is an assignment (project), which students solve in teams. Within the created project teams, they determine the schedule of planned activities, milestones of work tasks, partial goals and responsibility for meeting the set goals. They also decide for themselves what knowledge they need and search for information, data that they need to successfully achieve the set goals, or. solve the assignment, problem. In project teaching, the teacher plays a passive role - he supervises the fulfillment of the set goals, coordinates and guides students in solving projects.
During the project solution, students consult with experts from practice - the project topic initiators. They present the achieved results on an ongoing basis, and then present the comprehensive results at a final presentation with the participation of experts from practice. The assessment is focused on the students' abilities, is collective and is provided not only by the club supervisors, but also by experts from practice or the students themselves.
Depending on the selected club, students complete a series of professional workshops, lectures, work in 3-4-member teams on practical assignments, participate in excursions, intern with partners from practice, present the results of their work, organize final events at which they present their results or present the acquired marketing, presentation or business skills.
