Erasmus+ Study Mobility – Application Process
Applications are submitted via the portal https://studyabroad.skby 13 February 2026, 24:00

Additional Conditions
It is not possible to apply for two semesters at the same university (applications to different universities are allowed).
Extension of mobility from the winter semester to the summer semester is possible only with a zero grant, i.e. no Erasmus+ grant will be awarded for the summer semester.

Registration Procedure in the Study Abroad System
Register at https://studyabroad.sk
After registration, complete and upload all required documents directly in the system.
Required Documents in the Study Abroad System
1. Official Erasmus+ Study Application (Academic Year 2026/2027)
⚠️ Important: Students often mistakenly select the wrong academic year. Please double-check that the correct faculty (Faculty of Commerce) and academic year (2026/2027) are selected.
➡️ Indicate 3 partner universities according to your preferences (1st choice = highest priority) to increase your chances of nomination.
➡️ After completing and saving the application, do not forget to submit it (button SUBMIT in the upper right corner).
2. Photograph (section “Photograph”)
3. Other Activities
(section “Other Activities”) – e.g. student research competitions, international and EU awards, membership in organisations (Student Parliament, Buddy System, AIESEC, OIKOS, etc.), sports or artistic activities.
➡️ Upload multiple documents as a ZIP file.
4. Language Certificates (section “Language Skills – Certificates”)
Upload only certificates obtained outside Bratislava University of Economics and Business, and only for the language in which you plan to study.
ℹ️ If you completed the language course at the university as part of your studies, do not upload a certificate (it is visible in AIS).
⚠️ If you do not have a certificate, upload a blank document (technical system requirement).
5. Motivation Letter (English Language) – Video Confirmation Screenshot (section “Motivation Letter – English”)
⚠️ In this academic year, the motivation letter is replaced by a motivation video.
Upload a screenshot confirming the submission of your motivation video (max. 2 minutes, max. 100 MB) via the online form.
The form can be accessed only after logging in with your university e-mail address.
Motivation video content should cover:
- justification of the selected host university,
- compatibility of the study programme abroad with your study plan at the Faculty of Commerce,
- motivation for participating in the mobility,
- expected benefits for you and for the faculty/university
ℹ️ If you experience serious difficulties with uploading the video, please contact us by 5 February 2026 at the latest.
6. Preliminary List of Courses (section “Preliminary List of Courses”)

7. CV in English (section “CV in English”)
➕ If you will study in another language, upload your CV in that language as well.
Submission of Documents by E-mail
The application generated in the Study Abroad system must be:
signed electronically (e.g. via https://smallpdf.com/sign-pdf),
- E-mail attachments:
1) signed application form (PDF),
2) screenshot confirming submission of the motivation video,
3) CV in English,
4) preliminary list of courses for 3 selected universities (form). - ➡️ E-mail subject: “Erasmus+ Study Selection Procedure”
- ⚠️ The deadline 13 February 2026, 24:00 is binding for both uploading documents in Study Abroad and sending the e-mail. After this deadline, no modifications or additions will be possible.

Information Meeting Before Application Submission

Selection Procedure
➡️ 19 February 2026 at 12:30 (tentative date)
Invitation will be sent by e-mail one day in advance.
ℹ️ Purpose of the meeting: finalisation of submitted documents and explanation of Erasmus+ study mobility administration.
Results and the list of nominated students will be published on the Faculty of Commerce website.
Student Nomination
After evaluation, nominations of Faculty of Commerce students together with documentation will be forwarded to the Centre for International Relations of Bratislava University of Economics and Business.
Nominated students will then communicate directly with student mobility coordinators.
⚠️ Important notice:
A student who withdraws from mobility after official nomination by the Centre for International Relations will be eligible to apply again for Erasmus+ study mobility or short-term mobility only in the academic year 2027/2028.
