The Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business is one of the academic institutions that have been given the opportunity to participate in a research project entitled Academic Experience, Technology, and Employment. The main researchers of the project are Dr. Marta N. Lukacovic, Associate Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator, Department of Communication and Mass Media, Angelo State University, USA, and Dr. Deborah D. Sellnow-Richmond, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Program, Department of Applied Communication Studies, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, USA.

Within the Department of Marketing, Prof. Dipl. Ing. Eva Hanuláková, PhD., Head of the Department, and Dipl. Ing. Michael Šášky, PhD. from the Department of Strategies and Intelligent Systems in Marketing and Business of the Deparmtment of Marketing, who has been working on the topic of intelligent systems for a long time, are participating in the project. As the guarantor of the Digital Marketing course, the dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Ing. Peter Drábik, PhD. MSc. The initiator of the project in Slovakia and the coordinator of the project and relations with the USA is PhDr. Aneta Vančová, PhD., a long-time collaborator of the Department of Marketing in the field of neuroscience and intelligent systems in management, marketing, and business.

This is an international and interdisciplinary research project that addresses pressing contemporary issues. The project focuses on researching university students' perceptions of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly integrated not only into industrial sectors, but also into higher education and learning. It is extremely important to understand how different students perceive the associated risks and opportunities.
