From 21 to 23 April 2026, Hochschule Burgenland in Eisenstadt hosted the second training workshop of the ELIX project, this time focused on Career Development and Lifelong Learning.

Building on the foundations laid in the first workshop in Novo Mesto, this session guided students through a structured journey: understanding their own strengths through skills audits and emotional intelligence, exploring the dynamics of the modern labour market, examining leadership styles and organisational culture, and finally designing a personal career roadmap to present to peers.

The programme combined interactive group work, a guest speaker session on lifelong learning in practice, and reflective discussions, giving students practical tools they can apply well beyond the classroom.

The workshop closed with a certificate ceremony celebrating the diversity of the cohort, with participants from partner countries across Europe and beyond.

ELIX (European Labour Mobility-led Career and Service-Learning System in Higher Education) is an Erasmus+ KA2 project involving six partner institutions. Hochschule Burgenland served as host for this second mobility activity.
