ZÁKLADY EKONÓMIE

Študenti s prenosom predmetu Základy ekonómie na Obchodnej fakulte (v 2. a 3. ročníku) sa zaradia vo výučbe do študijných skupín prvého ročníka určených pre predmet Základy ekonómie na Obchodnej fakulte. Je potrebné aby študent v najneskôr 1. týždni kontaktoval vyučujúceho v skupine a čase, kedy mu termín vyhovuje a až po jeho súhlase sa môže do skupiny priradiť. Najneskoršie priradenie je do 2 týždňa semestra!

V prípade nevyhnutnosti absolvovať seminár v seminárnej skupine inej fakulty, resp. v prípade kolízie času seminára určeného pre prenos a inej výučby podľa platného rozvrhu je potrebné sa so žiadosťou o túto zmenu obrátiť na zástupcu vedúcej Katedry ekonómie (Ing. Ľubomíra Darma, PhD., e-mail: ).

VYBRANÉ KAPITOLY Z MATEMATIKY A ŠTATISTIKY

Študenti 3. ročníka, ktorí prenášajú predmet Vybrané kapitoly z matematiky a štatistiky si vyberú individuálne cvičenie podľa rozvrhu 2. ročníka a kontaktujú daného vyučujúceho o zaradenie. Prednášky môžu navštevovať s 2. ročníkom.

AIB-CEE 2025: AIB Insights Paper Development Workshop

We invite submissions to an AIB Insights Paper Development Workshop, to be held during the upcoming AIB-CEE conference in Bratislava (24th - 26th September 2025).

Who Should Attend this Event?

Are you doing research that can be communicated effectively in a short (approximately 2500 words) article that is interesting, topical, current, and thought-provoking? Do you want to master the skill of writing such an article – one that addresses theoretical, empirical, practical, or pedagogical issues of value to the broad community of international business (IB) scholars, practitioners, policy makers, and educators – with an emphasis on applied insights? If your response to both of these questions is “Yes”,then this workshop is for you, because AIB Insights – one of three journals published by the Academy of International Business (the world’s leading association of international business scholars) – provides an outlet for precisely such work!

Writing for AIB Insights requires a different approach, relative to journals such as Journal of International Business Studies or Journal of International Business Policy. This paper development workshop will enable scholars to gain developmental feedback on ideas and manuscripts that they are considering for submission to AIB Insights. We invite original submissions and ideas from researchers at all levels of experience, and particularly encourage junior scholars and PhD students to attend.

 

How is this Event Structured?

The workshop will include an overview of AIB Insights, with an emphasis on writing for the journal, along with break-out sessions for feedback – from two members of the AIB Insights editorial team – on submitted idea papers (see below).

 

How Can I Submit a Paper Idea?

To participate in the AIB Insights PDW, scholars must submit a short (maximum of 1000 words) manuscript that describes an idea for an AIB Insights article.

Authors of idea papers that are accepted for the PDW will have the opportunity to receive detailed comments from members of our editorial team (editors and/or members of the editorial review board) during the PDW.

The deadline for submissions is 12th September 2025, in the submitting author’s time zone. Please consult the AIB Insights “For Authors” page when preparing the submission. To submit, please send your file in an email to BOTH and with the subject line: AIB Insights AIB-CEE PDW Submission.

 

What Should I Do if My Submission is Accepted?

By submitting a manuscript, you are committing that at least one of the idea paper’s authors will participate in the full PDW – in-person, in Bratslava – if the submission is accepted. Participants must register for the 2025 AIB-CEE Conference in order to attend the AIB Insights PDW.

 

Post-PDW Publication Opportunity

The PDW is designed to aid authors in developing manuscripts for submission to AIB Insights. We hope that many of the submitted idea papers will be developed into published AIB Insights articles. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s usual double-blind submission process; participation in the PDW does not guarantee publication in the journal.

Pavol Lipták z Obchodnej fakulty a Dr. Filip Kalaš z Fakulty aplikovaných jazykov pracovnú cestu v chorvátskom Zadare s cieľom rozvíjať výskumnú spoluprácu v oblasti jazyka, marketingu a umelej inteligencie. Hlavným bodom ich programu bola medzinárodná konferencia „Corpora in Language Learning, Translation and Research“ (CLLTR 2025).

In addition to the traditional extended abstracts and competitive papers, we welcome posters to any of the conference tracks to be presented in a dedicated poster session. The poster session at AIB-CEE Chapter Annual Conference 2025 is designed to push early-stage work towards high-impact contributions.

To provide the best possible experience to poster presenters, we have secured a large number of senior scholars who agreed to give feedback during the poster session.

There will be no activities parallel to the poster session. This means many additional scholars will be interested in discussing your ideas. Participants who will present their poster at this session will receive a regular attendance mention in the conference booklet and are considered “active participants”. The abstracts of presented posters will be published in the conference proceedings.

The submission deadline for posters is September 19, 2025

This includes posters based on papers initially rejected as competitive or interactive submissions (please remember to re-work your submission to follow the poster guidelines). Submissions must conform to the following guidelines:

The submission format for posters is extended abstracts of maximum 1,500 words (including references and other appendices). Submissions exceeding this threshold will be rejected without exception.- Additionally, in the email you will be asked to summarize your poster in a short submission abstract (max 200 words).

- Please make sure you remove ALL information, which might reveal your identity, from the extended abstract.

- All extended abstracts should be submitted in PDF format.

- Please make sure the extended abstract outlines the research gap, its relevance, the theoretical basis, intended method, and (if existing) preliminary results.
