AIB

The Academy of International Business (AIB) is the leading global community of scholars for the creation and dissemination of knowledge about international business and policy issues. AIB began with a meeting of 15 like-minded scholars looking to build a strong foundation for the field of International Business. Sixty years on, we’ve grown into a global community of over 3,000 academics, producing some of today’s most impactful research. 

Bratislava University of Economics and Management

Bratislava University of Economics and Management (BUEM) is a private higher education institution located in Bratislava, Slovakia. Established in 2004, BUEM focuses on providing education in economics, management, and public administration. With a rather short history of over 20,000 alumni, it currently serves approximately 2,000 students. BUEM offers a range of study programs aimed at preparing students for careers in both the private and public sectors. The university provides bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in various disciplines, including economics, management, finance, marketing, public administration, public policy, and political science.

BUEM actively participates in the Erasmus+ program, facilitating student and staff exchanges with numerous European universities. The university has established bilateral agreements with institutions across various countries. Beyond Erasmus+, BUEM has signed Memoranda of Understanding with institutions worldwide, facilitating broader cooperation in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and shared academic programs.

Bratislava University of Economics and Business

Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) founded in 1940, is the oldest higher education institution specializing in economics in Slovakia. With a rich history of over 112,000 alumni, it currently serves approximately 7,000 students. EUBA offers a wide range of educational programs, including bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and lifelong learning opportunities in economics and related fields. Students can study a variety of foreign languages such as English, German, Spanish, and Italian.

In 2021, EUBA earned the prestigious AACSB accreditation, placing it among the top 6% of global business schools and making it the first Slovak university, and the third in the V4 region, to achieve this distinction. The university has 27 accredited bachelor’s programs, 31 master’s programs, and 21 doctoral programs across six faculties in Bratislava and one in Košice.

EUBA places great emphasis on internationalization, with strong ties to universities worldwide. Students can participate in dual degree programs with institutions such as Nottingham Trent University, NIDA in Bangkok, and University of Pavia in Italy, among others. With almost 350 students taking part in Erasmus+ mobility programs each year, the university is highly regarded for its global partnerships and cultural diversity.
